Body Parts are items that you can pick up and upgrade throughout the levels, giving you bonus effects or powers.
There are over sixty different body parts that you can unlock and upgrade. Most Body Parts also grant the player additional abilities, such as Wall Jumping, laser beams, rocket launchers, Time Stop, and many more. Much like weapons, they can also be upgraded to grant them not only more health upon being recycled, but also better effects for what they grant. An example, the Clockwork Body shoots a rocket forward, sending the player back some. This can be upgraded to allow you to do more damage, have longer range, and shoot three rockets instead of one.
Body Parts often come in sets, sharing the look of a certain type, also physically changing the player's character. Some sets include a number of items for one body part (e.g. the Kinetic set that includes 4 different types of arms), and some items stand alone.
The player can equip an item for each Body Part: Head, Arms, Body and Legs. Only one piece of a certain Body Part may be worn at one time on one part.
